The UGC-NET June 2025 examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for a total of 85 subjects. The exam took place over 10 shifts between June 25 and June 29, 2025, covering 285 exam cities across India. A total of 10,19,751 candidates appeared for the test, making it one of the largest national eligibility exams for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts in Indian colleges and universities.
